Musical Munchkins is always seeking highly energetic, self-motivated, English speaking music educators. There are several levels of opportunities to become Musical Munchkins team: Internship, Teaching Assistant, and Teacher positions. Teaching Assistant and Teacher positions require training and will go through a trial period before becoming permanent part ñor full time employees of Musical Munchkins.

Teaching at Musical Munchkins can be fun, challenging, and extremely beneficial to all those who are trying gain experience in teaching Early Childhood Education and, perhaps, this can be a road to your career opportunity.  However, Musical Munchkin's pedagogy requires you to be alert, be adaptable to different situations, flexible, responsible, and dedicated. 

Here are the qualifications for these positions:

Internship:

Internships are for individuals who are in the early stages of their professional interest. The qualifications are:

• Strong background in music in general with piano skills
• Candidates are between 18 and 25 years old. Typically, they are either still students or recent graduates
• The minimum time commitment required is no less than 5 hours per week
•  Must be an English speaker

Teaching Assistant:

• It is required to have a solid background in music education with piano skills and good understanding in theory and be able to improvise with chords
• You must have and be willing to develop further social skills to interact with parents and children
• You must have a EU work permit to apply for this position at Musical Munchkins
• Must be an excellent English speaker

Teacher:

• Solid background in music education with strong piano skills and theory
• Be able to teach at any level including groups and privates
• Excellent communication skills with customers, parents, children, and colleagues
• Should be a fast-learner to be able to learn and practice Musical Munchkins's method and lesson plans quickly
• Be able to work as part of a team
• You must have a EU work permit to apply for this position at Musical Munchkins
